America is the short word for the United States of America. It is on the continent of North America, south of Canada, and north of Mexico. The Atlantic Ocean is to the east, and the Pacific Ocean to the west. America has many big cities and many farms. It has mountains and deserts, rivers and lakes. People came to America from many other countries and continents.Somer of the best known cities are New York, Chicago, Los Angeles and Dallas.
