A person does a crime.

For example:

  • a person robbes a bank
  • a person kills somebody
  • a person does something against the law


The person has to go to the court.

The court sends them to prison.


A prison is one or more buildings.

The building is surrounded by high walls.

The windows are barred.

Entrance and exit are locked.

And protecked by guards.


There are different kinds of prisons.

  • prsions for men
  • prisons for women
  • prisons for young people
