She made her first skydiving jump on 21 May 1959.


She was an admirer of Yuri Gagarin.


She applied for the school for cosmonauts.

In 1962, they took her out of 400 people.


On 16 June 1963, the rocket Vostok 6 was launched.

Valentina Tereshkova was also in the rocket.

They flew for 3 days with the rocket.

They were orbiting the earth 48 times.
